Design concept

This is a 10 ft x 12 ft jewelry kiosk. As high-value and aesthetically pleasing items, jewelry needs to highlight its craftsmanship and charm. The kiosk is a simple rectangular shape, with lines simplified and materials made transparent to weaken the architectural sense. It creates an immersive shopping environment, naturally drawing customers’ attention to the jewelry. At the same time, the display cabinet height is adapted to human browsing habits, and the service counter size fits communication needs. The overall simple design highlights the charm of the jewelry, making this kiosk very popular.

Layout planning

This jewelry kiosk features a variety of geometric-shaped display cabinets, including rectangular and hexagonal ones, which are intricately arranged in the space. The uniquely shaped hexagonal display cabinets are at the four corners of the kiosk. This design not only breaks the monotony of a regular layout but also makes efficient use of the space. The interior of the rectangular display cabinets is meticulously planned with shelves according to the types of jewelry.

The lower shelves are tilted at an angle of 15° – 20° to simulate the wearing state, allowing customers to intuitively perceive the drooping effect. The upper shelves are densely dotted with small grooves for neatly displaying small jewelry. The hexagonal display cabinets are with three layers of display shelves at different heights. A can meet the display requirements of different products and product needs. Additionally, LED light strips are at the bottom to illuminate the jewelry from below, enhancing the luster presentation.

There is an independent display stand in the middle of the kiosk that can also be embedded with a cash register system. Meanwhile, the signs on the columns enhance brand awareness. The shopping malls sometimes get limitations on the height for kiosks. This kiosk is not tall, meeting the requirements of the shopping mall and not blocking the surrounding stores.

Material selection

The most frequently used material for this jewelry kiosk is high-transparency tempered glass. We select glass with a thickness of 8 – 10 mm, which has a high light transmittance and can restore the true color of jewelry. After tempering, the impact resistance of the glass increases, also making it suitable for the changing air conditioning environment in shopping malls. The surface of the glass leaves no marks after touching, maintaining the transparency and beauty of the display cabinet.

The other white parts are white lacquered panels. For this material, we use environmentally friendly density boards as the base material to ensure the indoor air quality. The lacquering process goes through a “three-coat and two-surface” procedure. The primer seals the pores of the board, and the intermediate coat also enhances adhesion. And the top coat is cured at high temperature to form a smooth coating of 0.8 – 1 mm thick. The stainless steel fittings are 304 food-grade material, which has strong corrosion resistance.
